Opening day '07 Contreras 1 IP 7 Runs
Opening day '08 Buehrle 2 IP 7 Runs
So, things are already better this season compared to last!
Actually, Contreras was terrible last year and Buehrle was terrible
this opener too. Interestingly, Masset came on in relief on the
opener last season as he did this opener. This year Masset did very
well. I know the Sox were faced with a decision on the final bullpen
slot and I'm glad that Masset got it rather than giving him away.
Tomorrow it's Javy Vazquez to the rescue, I hope. >> Stay informed about: Much better this year, so far... |

At least we should get a pretty good idea where the Sox stand early this
season. >> Stay informed about: Much better this year, so far... |

Agreed! The first 12 games against CLE, DET, MIN, and DET again should let
us know exactly where we'll be all season - ahead of the pack or coming from
behind.
Good to have baseball back! >> Stay informed about: Much better this year, so far... |

Yes, that's exactly what happened to the Indians in the '07 ALCS. And
yes that's exactly what happened to the Indians in '05 when the Sox
swept them away from the post-season.
Before the Indian trolls stroll over here and start boasting again
about their team, win a World Series, that's something to boast about. >> Stay informed about: Much better this year, so far... |
