Eddie G.? Bye-bye. See ya. Have a great retirement. Eddie earned
his pay the first time around with the Twins, but did not this time,
and I really don't believe he ever will again.

Punto? A different story. It's pretty hard to argue he was not a
pretty valuable asset in 2008. I know, you have to figure out what
he's worth, and make sure you don't pay him (too much) more than that,
but with the others (possible exception: Reyes) there's no pont in
even sitting down at the table, IMO.

Agreed -- I'd like to see them try and re-sign Punto. Valuable asset this
year and would likely be one again next year if not expensive.
