The Red Sox have a great chance for a 19, game winning streak. A win in
tomorrow's game against Glavine, will likely give the chances the Red
Sox will win 19 straight. Red Sox will play their next 7 games, in
Florida facing the Marlins, &, the D'rays. Which should be easy cake for
the Red Sox. If they do lose again ending the winning streak, it will
most likely be the next series following the Tampa Bay series, the Red
Sox play the ChicSox.

Actually we decided they have a pretty good chance of not losing for the
rest of the season, leading to a final record of 134-28.

I wouldn't underestimate anybody the Sox play. Sure, the Red Sox are white
hot right now. But there's no reason that they just won't wake up on the
wrong side of the bed one day and just come out flat and lose. Or that
they'll run across a seriously hot pitcher. Or just get one bad bounce or
bad ump's call at the wrong time.

Let's just enjoy this winning streak for what it is, a nice winning streak
that will eventually come to an end, whether it's tomorrow or next week or
whatever.

Great point. They still have to win tonight, and Glavine isn't easy
pickings. Who would be pitching in Florida? There's also the
disadvantage of losing the DH.

God help us then, because with all the days off Coma's Biggest Fan and the
other Francona Bashers have gotten, when they do lose we will have a field
day of post bashing everything that went wrong that day Sad

Exactly, no team can win all the time, otherwise this wouldn't be much of a
sport, that's what sports are all about competition, so enjoy the wins we
have and when the lose there's always another day or season fo rthat matter.

If the winning streak remains active, I bet it'll come to a screeching
halt when Clement comes back from dead arm summer camp...

I don't disagree that the Fish are playing quite well of late. However, the
Sox have been handling the loss of the DH reasonably well this season, I'd
say. If anything, all it guarantees is that Lowell, Youk, and Ortiz each
get a day off, as they share 1B and 3B for the 3 game series.

Too many times we've seen teams rip through tough opposition and then let up
to weaker teams and lose.

If you really think that the Marlins, especially at home, will be "easy
cake", you've been away for a while.

You're cruel. Wink

Cruel, but probably accurate.
