Yes indeedy!!

The last time this team was in a similar position we were in the middle of
a deadly heat wave and Jimmy Carter was prez.
Jim Frey was the skipper and George Brett was attempting to hit .400 (why
did we never come up with a slick nickname for Brett?).

My daughter had just turned 3 and I was yet to turn 28 ... man, where DO
the years go???

LOL....enjoying the view from the top tho...and dreaming of:
Kansas City Royals - 2003 American League Central Division Champions.

Oh, thank god someone here is older than me.

As for George, who knows? He had every talent a baseball player needs, as well
as good looks, and he never got the name Gorgeous or anything else. That's a
good question.
