The Diamondbacks must win 13 games in June to save Bob Brenly's job!
See speculation/quotes below from the Boston Globe...
The Diamondbacks' worst June record was in their first year, 1998
under Buck Showalter, when they went 12-15. Their worst June since
2001 when Brenly took over was in 2002, at 14-12.
They've won their first two games so far this month, so they need 11
more wins (25 more games scheduled)!

Hot rumor making the rounds was former Sox skipper Grady Little
replacing Bob Brenly as manager in Arizona, although that lost a
little of its currency when Diamondbacks owner Jerry Colangelo vowed
to give Brenly more rope after the team went 9-20 in May. "I'll stand
by what I said all along," Colangelo told reporters yesterday. "I want
Bob to have this year. He's going to have this year unless the bottom
absolutely just falls out."
What would he consider the bottom falling out after the team's May,
its worst in franchise history?
"A worst June," Colangelo said.
