The Phils are vulnerable at catcher.

I don't believe in ruining Werth behind the plate. He's better in the
OF and I don't think he has the catcher build to last.

How are the Phils doing in the minors on catching? Or maybe an underated
catcher can be thrown into a deal coming up.

Jason Jaramillo is on the 40-man roster; he got off to a terrible start at
Lehigh Valley but is up to .251 with a .667 OPS.

The hot catching prospect in the organization right now is Lou Marson at
Reading, hitting .347 with a .919 OPS. He has eight errors already though, so
his defense may not be ready for prime time.

I hope one of these guys is ready to contribute this September. Ruiz and
Coste have some miles on their kneecaps and Jaramillo has been hanging
around long enough to act like a veteran, but I guess some of these guys get
bored and need MLB adrenalin.

Thanks for the update. I haven't been following the pigs like I followed the
Barons.

Isn't every team 'vulnerable' to injury at every position?
