I just heard Baker say he will never play Garciaparra and Ramirez at the
same time ? What could be the reason for this. Did anyone else hear this?

I believe what he said was he didn't want them to both be out at the same
time. Sat Nomar Sunday, then Ramirez today. With the day off yesterday,
gave them both 2 days off without taking them both out of the lineup at the
same time.

Either that had to be a misstatement by Dusty or a misquote by the reporter.
He did say on the weekend that they both needed to rest their injuries but
he would not sit them the same day.
