lying about priors injury so he can go to the all star game

thats sad

plenty of guys backed out due to injury

and im not saying prior wasnt a deserved all star, he was

sammy only had one corked bat. and he only used it that one time, and he never
hit a home run EVER with a corked bat.
prior was healthy enough to be on the all star roster, but not healthy to pitch
a regular game.
juan cruz is a superstar prospect, and all teams should be happy to have their
top players mentioned in trade talks for him.

do the cubs tell the truth about anything?

Sammy has been using corked bats for years. In fact, most of his homers
were hit with corked bats. He screwed up because the particular bat that
got him in trouble was not corked with the special magical cork that
disintegrates when the bat breaks. This is the cork he used in all his
other bats that shattered during game situations and the ones that were cut
open on TV. What's amazing about this special magical cork is it also is
coated with a substance that makes it undetectable under XRay.
