At this time last year...

....the Sox were 53-33. This year? 53-33.

However, I think last year's team at this time was doing much better
than what you'd expect from runs scored vs. allowed so maybe they were
over-achieving. This year's team is winning at slightly less than the
rate that the run differential would predict, which maybe bodes better
for the future.
