Probably the most infamous of the lot was SDPadreBob's entry the past
several years: Off in the Woods
The theory being that nobody would be bragging about beating Off in the
Woods! ;o)
It seemed to have worked pretty well, as Bob's OitW team won the league
championship in '05 and '06, with my own "Chip a Brick" (a nod to homers off
the Western Metal Building) team edging him in the final this past season.
Other notables are badlands' "Bunghole Patrol", Baba's current "Who's your
Papi" (along with various other BoSox themed names over the years), and Big
Al's oft-changing team names to adapt to current events (he ended last year
with his team named "Chip a Brick's Bitch")
Some team names I can recall from the past are "Fast Like Gazelle" (a little
newsgroup inside humor) "Montezuma's Revenge" and an array of names honoring
(or roasting) folks like Bochy, Klesko, and Nevin.
It's not quite vintage Over The Line names, but they do get creative at
times.

)
Why not enter and start your own dynasty?
