He's currently batting .153, and his defense isn't exactly Golden
Glove.
Couldn't we just call up a AAA outfielder and get better production
than this?

Local sports radio is picking up rumblings, from the Padres front
office, that Edmonds has about 2 weeks to turn it around or be
released. I hope it's less time. We need help and May is a good time
to attempt a turnaround.

I had no idea when we signed him that Edmonds would be such an absolute
shell of himself. His bat and glove are both gone. As ridiculous as it
sounds, I don't know that he's even the best defensive center fielder on our
roster. We need to get it over with and trade for a young center fielder
with speed. If the Brewers want too much for Anthony Gwynn, then go ahead
and overpay.
