I'll float one out there for you. I've seen enough of Edwin. He's
inconsistent at the plate. He's inconsistent in the field. He has that
down-trodden, slump shouldered body language.
If I can play pretend GM again, I'm looking a different direction for my
2009 third baseman.
I hope he gets hotter than hell and drives up his value. Regardless, I'm
through with him.
Aside............Junior just flied out at the wall and got a standing "O"
from Philly fans. Very nice gesture. >> Stay informed about: I like to stir the personnel pot |

Turner, Valakia, Francisco, Frazier....the reds have a bunch of guys who
project as third basemen. None will be ready next year.
Edwin still has that spectacular range, but the throwing errors aren't going
away. Every ground ball is an adventure. They can't put him at first.

They might shove him into the outfield.

If he would show some consistency at the plate, I would consider trying to
hide him. This guy they just drafted is a 1st base only guy. >> Stay informed about: I like to stir the personnel pot |

Well, sure, it sounds as though he was their MVP today.

I think it was an earnest ovation, figuring that's the last time they may
see him (In the NL).
I don't know, hell they booed Santa Claus in that city. >> Stay informed about: I like to stir the personnel pot |

And Ryan Howard just last night. Listening on the radio, when Bray
struck him out, they booed him loudly and with feeling.
Which is why the ovation for an opponent seemed a bit odd.
Maybe there are more people following this 600 thing elsewhere. I'm
pretty sure I heard them announce on the radio that the attendance
today was third highest ever at their new park. >> Stay informed about: I like to stir the personnel pot |
