Well they are off to a good start getting a win on June 1 and their
first Sunday win as well.
Bonderman gave up a career-high 12 hits, but turned it into a quality
start with three runs allowed over seven innings by stranding eight
runners on base. He left runners at the corners in both the third and
fourth, the latter with a called third strike on Ichiro Suzuki, and
held Seattle to just the go-ahead run in the fifth by stranding
runners on first and second. That's two good starts in a row for
Jeremy (with no decision in either). Add to that the bullpen only
gave up 2 runs and not the lead. It's about time!
Also, to comment on an earlier post, Cabrera batted 5th behind
Ordonez, got two hits, 2 RBI and scored a run. He did, however,
strike out twice and left 3 on base.
