Post subject: We need more shutouts

It would appear that the only way this team will win is when we don't allow
any runs at all.

I heard an interview with Frank Robinson and it seems that he is quite ready
to make big changes to the lineup to get some hits. Let me suggest one,
Calloway has to go, anybody would be an improvement right now, even it is a
AAA player.

What happened to Joe Vitiello? (spelling?)
he was hitting a ton in Spring training

"Designated for assignment" just before the season started. Which in
this case means the Expos tried to send him down to Edmonton, but he
refused and became a free agent.

He's batting .229 for the Toledo Mud Hens in the Tiger's organization...

Really? guy got a raw deal...I'm sure the Mud Hens wasn't what he had in
mind.

Yeah, I liked the guy and recall he was miffed at the Expos organization
about being sent down. He did up his average over the weekend, going 2 - 4
in both games. Those SO don't look so good, though.
