They released David Ross? ....wtf? I wondered what they were gonna do about
Ryan Hannigan, but I surely didn't expect this. You would have thought
SOMEBODY would haven given you a bag of balls for David Ross. I'm missing
something.
Now that Hannigan is here. Why aren't they taking a look at Chris Dickerson?
I mean...I wish Adam Rosales as much luck as anybody, but Dicerson has been
"waiting his turn" on the 40 man roster for at least two (and maybe even
three) years now. I don't think he's any more than a 4/5 outfielder, but
don't you think they would want to find out? Are they really committed to
Corey Patterson?
A couple of things from today's newspaper....
Jay Bruce tells the fans to be patient. Says that he and Joey Votto and the
whole team will be fun to watch for a long time in the near future. Guess
that answers the questions about who the press views as a leader. Take a
seat Brandon. Perhaps I'm just jumping to conclusions, but I think it may
also point to Adam Dunn leaving.
Former red/former astro Ricky Stone has a brain tumar and Roy Oswalt goes to
visit him and stays till 3 a.m. No word on any of the reds going to see him.
In order to put Adam Rosales on the 40 man roster, they took Marcus McBeth
off the 40 man roster. McBeth has been pretty terrible at Louisville. On the
other hand....Chris Denorfia has been pretty terrible a 636 OPS in the PC
isn't getting it done when you're 27 years old. L. Guess things don't always
work out..
