(Great article in last week's SF Weekly to address the original reasons
for not liking him)

During last night's Home Run Derby, Morgan and Chris Berman were
discussing how to say "Home Run" in languages other than English. When
they got to French, Berman (always a Montréal supporter) said, "I miss
the Expos." Morgan, cocky as ever, said "You're the only one." Grr.

I'm not a big fan Morgan the announcer myself, but he's probably
referring to Les Expos lack of attendance.

Are you saying he's wrong?

Saying attendance was painfully low is one thing. Saying "no one" misses
the Expos but Berman ignores and insults the fans, players and media
personnel who enjoyed baseball in the most cosmopolitan city in North
America.

Maybe the fans, players, and media personnel of New York City felt
ignored by Joe Morgan's comment, but I really doubt that they felt
insulted.

Smile

Don't forget Toronto as a cosmopolitan city....more so than Montreal!

I wasn't aware that the Expos played in New York.
