To all still reading the Mariners NG - please help one of ..

Dave Cameron, owner of the USS Mariner site, one of the best sports
blogs in the world, needs our help.

He's in the running for a 10,000 scholarship, and they are determining
this by popular vote. This isn't the greatest way to decide a
scholarship, but there are few more deserving than Mr. Cameron. If
you've never visited his site, I implore you to do so. I'm much
smarter for having read his blog over the last 2 years. He was the
person who wrote the open letter to Felix Hernandez, and helped him
grow as a pitcher. (stopped relying on his fastball so much, threw
more off speed stuff.)
