Jim Thome and Alfonso Soriano also usually show a lot of sock
I think one of the first players to mutilate his pants as was described was
Manny Ramirez (in 2001?), and I remember he and other Red Sox teammates were
warned to stop it (by umpires or the commissioner's office?), but I guess it
never was enforced.
