If the Royals want second place, they'll need to take 3 of 4 from the
Sox. Splitting won't do any good.

Notice how the Twins have duplicated the Royals' season-opening streak?
Twins will have a chance to make Detroit finish more than 50 games out
of first place!!!

Notice how the Royals scored more runs than any other team in the
AL Central? The problem is that they gave up more than they scored,
which is odd for a team with a winning record, though Montreal could
finish the season the same way.
