He's on the disabled list for the Minnesota Twins with pulled hamstrings.
Check the below link for more info.

Hmmph. I wonder how a relief pitcher, in the AL, that gets as little action
as Fedders does, could do that.

I never quite understood his popularity here. Was his "Mad Hungarian"
rip-off that he did, that charming? Seems to me his first couple of
relief appearances were effective, but then he settled into a Myers-like
pattern of unreliability. Oh well.

And of course it's "Fetters".

*Both* hamstrings?

That's how that happens.

The more you use your muscles--the more you stretch them,
especially--the less chance you have of straining them.

Although if it's really both hamstrings, it sounds like
a personal problem...

Sounds a whole lot more like a strained lower groin reaching into the
hams..... then again, the term "pulled groin" certainly carries connotations
of its own. (Insert Mike Piazza jokes here.)

In all seriousness (as if anything else were the case), the last info I'd
heard on Mike "The Glare" Fetters was that he was nearly ready for
activation.

The suspicion all along among those conspiratorially inclined among us has
been that Fetters was something of an "insurance policy" in case one or more
of the key relievers on the club were sidelined or the rotation was hit so
hard that Gardenhire was forced to use Santana in a serious manner. So long
as the 'pen handles the extra workload Santana left behind, expect Fetters'
"injury" to linger just a bit longer.
