He was supposed to pitch today to see how his arm feels. I am
really hoping he's going to be ready for the NLSC.

If he is actually healthy their bullpen would really be set. They
wouldn't have to rely on only Wade/Broxton like they did in all 3
games of the NLDS. Also, he could give them multiple innings if a
starter can't go 5 or in case of an extra innings game. Although in
this series a lefty will have to see action since the Phils top 3
hitters bat from the left side.

I want him back. He's been awesome, as those who've followed him
predicted in between surgeries. The only downside (and not a big one)
is that if he's activated, that will likely mean McDonald will be
taken off the active roster, and he's been effective in a very small
sample size.

Now it looks like there's some good news and bad news. Saito may be
left off of the NLCS roster and would be replaced by Kuo, who it seems
is healthy now. If Saito isn't able to go it McDonald would still be
on the roster. This is all according to a report on mlb.com:
