Lets see, the Washington Nationals, who have had problems scoreing
runs all year, especially in the 1st inning, have scored 4 runs off
the Cubs "Ace" Carlos Zambrano. Maybe it was a good thing that
negotations broke off before he was signed to big bucks.

Actually, I thought I didn't post this version. I noticed the
mispellings and thought I cancelled out of posting. I guess I was
wrong.

BTW, Zambrano was lucky. An "Ace" does not give up 4 runs in the 1st
inning against a team as pathetic as the Nats.

It actually happens quite a lot. In this case, Zambrano gave up a 3
run homer in the first. Fortunately, he pitched pretty well after
that.

Zambrano's getting off to about the same kind of start he had last
year. I expect he'll have about the same kind of finish as he had
last year, too.

Well..here we go again. At least he only gave up 3 runs today in the
1st. He must be getting better

- F.Sanchez was hit by a pitch.
- J.Bautista doubled to right, F.Sanchez to third.
- Bay doubled to right, F.Sanchez scored, J.Bautista scored.
- R.Doumit singled to center, Bay to third.
- Nady hit a sacrifice fly to left fielder A.Soriano, Bay scored.
- On pickoff attempt, error by pitcher C.Zambrano, R.Doumit to second.
- Ad.LaRoche flied out to center fielder A.Pagan.
- Paulino struck out.

Once again, I say a teams "ace" does not do this and certainly he does
not do this 2 games in a row!
