| it'll work, what ruined it for MLB, was the MLB strikes and lockouts,
and the horrid Olympic Stadium, which is way past due for demolishing.
I seem to recale a rich baseball history in Montreal, ya know, the
Royals, Jackie Robinson, etc....

What ruined baseball in Monteal....was Baseball. I have to hand it to the
Canadians..mainly the French. They got
screwed , walked out and never looked back. Every other baseball fan keeps
coming back, despite the nearly 180 million dollar difference in payrolls
between the Yanks and Rays...the steroids...the cheating, the high ticket
prices...
Funny how the Big O wasn't a dump when the CFL Alouettes hosted the playoffs
