Post subject: New "minor" league stadium

On extreme home makeover they re-did a backyard to look like
a baseball diamond. The covered the fence with back drops
of Dodger stadium, had a really small diamond and a batting
cage. It was pretty cool. Quick background...father in national
guard serving in Iraq, Mom and 3 boys at home, crew comes in
and does a fantasy make over of the house and yard. They fly
in the dad as a surprise...then the icing is Tommy Lasorda, Shawn
Green and Dave Roberts show up and play ball with the kids.
It was pretty sweet....yeah...I teared up but then I cry over
commercials so maybe it wasn't all that. Smile

BTW...Green was pitching to the kids...hmmm....

Interesting... from your observations do you think the kid play 1st base and
hit clean-up for the Dodgers this year? He could probably be had for cheap.

Normally I would say he is too short for first...but I think he is taller
than LoDuca so maybe.....
