Here's to our first team president and part owner Buzzie Bavasi.

According to MLB.com: Emil Joseph "Buzzie" Bavasi passed away at the
age of 93 years old in San Diego, CA, of natural causes after a short
illness.

If you are a long time Padre fan, you will never forget the name
Buzzie Bavasi.

Wow--he's THE original Padre--well, he and C. Arnholdt Smith. Smith passed
away in 1996 at the age of 97.
