It would be much worse if he didn't show some emotion or frustration.

My thought exactly. I'm glad I waited to see if someone else said that
before I did.

Exactly. His frustration level must be off the scale.

Man, I feel bad for that guy.
He must be suffering big time.

Who do we have that could fill his spot while he regroups in the minors?
Or who could we get?

Yeah, it's got to be brutal, that's why I hoped Terry would move him down in
the order earlier to take some pressuree off of him. It isn't helping but
at least he isn't leading the team in ABs anymore.

He'd probably refuse a trip to the minors.

Other than his triple in Atlanta he really hasn't been much of an answer
lately either, maybe he'd do better with regular pt though.

I think he would. At a minimum, he would almost *have* to be better than
Lugo has been. I'm quite surprised that this move hasn't already happened.

He's got Big Letters on his ass spelling out B-E-N-C-H!
Does Francona need to have his nose rubbed in the doggy doo to smell it?
This team cannot afford an easy out like Lugo at this point regardless
of how much he cost.
Momentum! That's what's needed now.

Rest will do Lugo some good.

Cora can hit anything, especially out of the strike zone when he's on.
Just like Damon used to do...

Cora is really the only answer.
Lugo should feign an injury and take one for the team at this point IMHO.

I think you better recheck those stats. I like the guy too, and I have no
problem using him more, and resting Lugo for a spell, but you best hope
Julio figures out what's wrong or it's gonna be a long, hard four years of
Lugo @ 9M per.
