The Norwich Navigators are the Connecticut Defenders and the Greenville
Bombers are now the Greenville Drive. I live near Norwich and am not sure I
like it. Anyone know of any other changes?

Nothing right now, but coming from Wilkes-Barre PA is a lot of news that
makes it look like the Phillies AAA team will be moving to Allentown after
the 2006 season, with another AAA team replacing them, most likely Ottawa.
Guess it wouldn't be much of an "International League" then.

That would make sense though to get the AAA team closer to DC. The Phillies
to Allentown though wow that kind of surprises me though.

Apparently, there is a business group with strong ties to the Phillies
organization and some of the higher ups in the front office and is getting
ready to build a new park in Allentown, or perhaps right outside Allentown.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's contract with Philly is up after next season, just
in time for the move, but from what I read, the county has an agreement to
keep a AAA team in place, so it has to come from somewhere.
