Has Bonderman Lost It? - In 2003 Bonderman was 6-19. Some of that was due to the team around him. Most was due to his 5.56 ERA. But each year after that, he improved. 11-13, 14-13 and 14-8 last season with a 4.08 ERA. He started out well this season but he has now lost 4 in.

I think he was doomed when Leyland started replacing him for defense in late
inning situations. When you hit under .200 AND you need to be replaced for
defense...what is your value-add? None. He needed to go. He was Neifi in
the outfield.
