If the bullpen continues to (not) perform at its current level, it's going
to be a *very* long season.
I went to Sunday's game, and it was a very entertaining and well-pitched
game until 2 outs in the top of the 6th inning. El Duque clearly had run
out of gas, but given how quickly Jason Grimsley threw fuel on the fire
when he came in, I can understand why Melvin stayed with El Duque for so
long.
I didn't get to watch Monday night's game against the Giants, but I heard
a quick recap on the radio this morning on my way in. "The Diamondbacks
staged a miraculous comeback from a 7-0 deficit to retake the lead 9-7,
but gave up the lead later in the game to lose 10-9."
