| If he continues to dominate triple A hitters the way he has done so far, or
another 4 or 5 starts, I don't think there is any way they can keep him from
coming up to the majors.

If the starting pitching were bad, I could see Lincecum being brought
up fast. The starting pitching isn't that bad so what would be gained
by bringing him up? He'd have to go nine innings to gain a win, what
with the relief pitching out bullpen provides.
Let him season some more and wait until the second half, or, bring him
up for long relief. How's that suit ya?

Besides the FU comment, the year the fish took the wildcard and the WS, they
brought up a very young Bay area kid, who some said keep in the minors until
next year, this young kid went on to win 9 in a row and carried the fish to
the wildcard. He was about 2 years younger then skinny Mr. Lincecum. I
say why not let him throw his arm out in hitter friendly triple A, when he
could be helping out the parent team which drafted him. Never mind, keep him
in the minors until 2009. Thats a good idea. >> Stay informed about: more on lincecum |

Sorry, neither did I. Sometimes it seems to me that the only thing you
intend when you reply to Wayne is to be as impolite as possible.

OK, I guess my response wasn't clear after all. Well, Wayne said that
if Lincecum continues to dominate the minors like he's been for 4 or 5
more starts that they should bring him up to the big club. I guess a
simple one-word reply of "DUH!!!" would've been clearer to everybody.
My bad. >> Stay informed about: more on lincecum |
