I think Jimy is a terrible manager, especially the way he uses pitchers.
If this club goes anywhere it's inspite of Jimy. But it's not going
anywhere because even this great group of players can't overcome the
ineptness of Jimy. Getting rid of Larry and replacing him with Jimy was
so stupid it's surreal, I still keep thinking it's a bad dream and I'll
wake up and Dierker will still be manager.

We are already starting to see the signs of the bullpen being used too
much. This is mostly *not* Jimy's fault, but his quick hook is a
contributing factor.

agreed-but Jimy not only has a fast hook-but uses the pitchers for only one
inning or two-so that are ready for the next night...He does not leave a hot
pitcher in-but pinch hits for him and sends in a fresh arm- over and over
again...
in todays paper said Kent is feeling better---that kid they called up for
second base and short is doing himself proud...he is a keeper..

I agree 100%. A team with all this talent, playing in a weak division and
getting their butts kicked repeatedly by the likes of the Pittsburgh Pirates
managed by Lloyd McClendon. Does it get much worse? Those "jimy" fans must be
too busy buying chapstick to help them kiss his ass to allow time for
reflective thinking.
