Stanford plays almost non-stop baseball from Feb. 22 - May
25. Fifty-five games packed into 94 fun-filled days (and
evenings). Any illusions we may have had about the NCAA
supporting student athletes are now laid to rest.

Gruesome details available at

LSU Tiger Baseball, same thing. Link to schedule below:

We play 56 games, sandwiched between Feb. 22 and May 17 (86 days??). The
SEC Tournament takes place the weekend of May 22-25 for the best 8 teams,
but we will have to improve from last year to attend on the field.
This will be the last season at the original Alex Box Stadium, as the
"new" Box is well under construction for 2009.
Geaux Tigers!!
WDS from Baton Rouge

Yeah, the NCAA really knows how to put the "athlete" into
"student-athlete." - T
