Archived from groups: alt>sports>baseball>kc-royals (more info?)

Hey guys, I'm a life (in the USA) long White Sox fan -- eight years
now, but it won't be to long before I am move to KC.... well away from
the confines of Komiscular. I tend to see the Royals play in KC about
5-6 times a year, and as its pretty well the only local choice (T-Bones
anybody?) in terms of MLB baseball I will be there, probably 20-30
times next season ........

...... I love the game but as I adopt the Royals I am wondering how much
grief I am letting myself in for? Do I buy a season ticket and root
for however they are playing so I can have a guaranteed winning season?
Do I just accept that Glass sucks ass and that the status quo isn't
changing or is a tiny tiny glint of hope for the future?

Gil Meche Sad .......... if the Marlins can do so well on so little how
come KC can't?
