I've had a theory for a bunch of years now that if Bonds ever left,
that AD had a real shot at taking over both the HR and walks title
from him. Looks like it's coming true.

And something I truly can't understand. I mean, there can't be 30
odd GMs that can't simply recognize his production can there? What
does that say about the quality of GM's in MLB?
I read in some "trade rumour" or other last week that of the 5 teams
that had speculated interest in Dunn, that he would instantly have the
highest OBP on each of the teams, except for 1 guy (can't remember
who).
I also read where AD has more HRs and walks than anyone in baseball
the last 5 years. In addition, he had more HRs and more RBIs than
anyone else in MLB this month, so he's hotter than anyone, and yet no
one can use him?
I can't come up with any explanation at all for how Carlos Lee is a
$100 Million dollar player and Dunn isn't worth a plugged nickel
unless other teams get all their info from listening to Marty and
reading the local rags trashing him.
