Post subject: Expos headed to New England?

News report on CTNOW.COM says the Expos could be headed to Hartford,
where they'd be known as the New England Colonials.


I guess if they HAVE to move, New England would be the best place for
them to end up.. close to home, as it were.

Well, if they must move, they should come to Charlotte, NC, which is only 90
miles away. Smile

Well, if Charlotte hadn't twice voted down stadium proposals it might have
happened. The people of Charlotte have said loudly and clearly that they do not
want major league baseball.

Yeah, I guess they should be happy with a AAA team. The Knights used to be in
the (AA) Southern League and was one of Greenville's biggest rivals.
