Was I too harsh with Curty?

I was just over at "38pizzas.com" and left a message for Curt...he
started his blog with:

"Again I am going to apologize for the non responsiveness of the site.
It's been a busy time. Rehab is going well and we are making daily
strides."

So I responded with:

"In other words....Ive been huckin' em back like Billy Martin in the off
season!

Put 'em down, unplug the laptop, get your ass off the couch, and try
and earn what your looking for.

Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life!

This Buds for you!
Slainte!"

Do you think that may have been a bit harsh or did I make my point?
What if he's not a Bud drinker?
