You should really engage your brain before your ass!
1. Ichiro probably speaks English better than you. FYI most Japanese kids
go to EXTRA classes on Saturdays to learn English - try that on American
kids to learn Japanese. HA!
2. Have you forgotten Luis Aparicio, Minnie Minoso, Roberto Clemente,
Orlando Cepeda, etc.?
3. If there's any "blame" why baseball is no longer "the American game"
you can probably raise your hand as culpable. Young kids aren't
interested in baseball as in years past. Dads & moms don't make or have
the time to take the kids. Ballfields in the cities are often in such
disrepair that it is unsafe to play on them. Baseball is too expensive
for some families - it's alot cheaper to buy a basketball that a dozen
kids can play with. I could go on!
Instead of making zenophobic, biggoted remarks in this forum, maybe you
could direct your efforts to helping out with a youth baseball program,
Babe Ruth league or Legion ball!
If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem!
