How can those two guys be sitting? Tatis also ran up Moyer's pitch
count, not that he'll be in for 100 pitches anyway.
Tatis in left, Church in right, Easly at second. Murphy and Evans on
the bench. Endy and Castillo for late inning defense.
Many have been forcasting Tatis fading, but he just keeps coming
through in clutch spots--I can't think of any other Mets player that
has been as effective in the clutch. Murphy has been great, but IMO,
he's the one that may not be able to sustain his production.
(Obviously not expected to hit .400 all year, but has still played
great overall) >> Stay informed about: I guess Tatis and Easly don't want to stay on the bench? |

I agree. I think Jerry likes to rest Damion and platoon players. I
was surprised that Castillo did not start tonight, though, since he
only played one game. >> Stay informed about: I guess Tatis and Easly don't want to stay on the bench? |

Castillo played good defense yesterday, but no offense. I think Jerry
was trying to load up on hitters today, which he should.
Mets' RBIs tonight:
4 for Tatis
2 for Easley
1 for Wright
(wasted) >> Stay informed about: I guess Tatis and Easly don't want to stay on the bench? |

When Tatis and Easley get 6 RBIs you should win, the Mets bullpen are
the best in the world. >> Stay informed about: I guess Tatis and Easly don't want to stay on the bench? |

Both Easley and Tatis out of the lineup tonight. Yeah, leftie-rightie,
etc (which I often don't understand). What happened to playing the hot
hand, "Meritocracy", etc? Those two definitely earned the start, at
least tonite.
(Figured I'd post this early, so I'm not second guessing. Maybe
Castillo can avoid going 0 for 5 again) >> Stay informed about: I guess Tatis and Easly don't want to stay on the bench? |
