Why they didn't go switch caps after that top of the first is beyond
me.

While I don't like to admit it, I am red-green color blind. So, I cannot
extend this thread any longer. Well, except for the whole color blindness
thing. Sorry.

Right. No problem!
Think Eaton will get a decision tonight?

Yes, thanks for the chuckle, knuckle.
Eaton is 0-0. Last time against the PR8s he was pulled in the 4th. But, I
truly, really, have to believe this is his *break-out* year, and gets to 10
wins.
Tonight is his first.

Yeah, the whole time Montgomery was on TV extolling the Phillies go green
initiative, I was thinking ooooohhh no
this is a jinx waiting to happen....

Would you settle for a break-out year of no losses?

Thought this might be a common phrase in South Jersey or
something, but Google comes up with nothing.

Holy crumboly.
No, not unlike Exton's Ed Webb, I make up my own catch phrases. Which, with
any luck and twist of fate, may some day become cliché.
But, back to the game, which I missed, entirely. Randy Wolf, would have
liked to have seen him - did he get applause I hope?
And Howard, HR in the 8th, very nice. Very nice indeed. Lidge, another save.
The Phillies in first place. All is right in the world.
Sixers forced a game seven, right? Right????

Sadly, those of us in the Philadelphia area just about missed the
Howard homer as we were watching a meaningless interview between Tom
McCarthy and Jerry Coleman about the 1950 World Series.

Turned on the XM in the 3rd inning.

Totally. And you forgot Howard's RBI double. Maybe he's
finally shaking off his slump. (Knock on wood.)

What's a Sixer?
