I always hate it when any team wins by cheating, but the rain delay is
likely to cool off the Indians' starting pitcher. He had 5 strikeouts in
fewer than 3 innings. The only real gopherball he's given up is Hinske's
double. After sitting around for at least half an hour, he might even get a
stiff arm. How is the Indians' long relief looking this season?

Or the game might be called, but only Lilly would really benefit from that,
as his horrible start would be erased.

The best outcome for the Jays would be a partial doubleheader tomorrow, with
the rest of today's game occurring before the regularly scheduled one. It
would be a chance to test out their new lefty (I forget his name), and
Westbrook would likely not come back and pitch again.

New LHP is Scott Downs. Think he's going to be the long-term replacement
for Lilly?
