The MFYs are up by a whopping five games in the loss column. What this means
is that, if the MFYs were to split their reaming 18 games, the Tigers can
lose no more than 4, just to tie for the wild card.

Remember, they just swept the Sox. Of course, that was in nyc. Remember,
too, however, that we're talking the MFYs losing 9, while the Tigers lose
just 4, and that would only get a tie. Barring miracles, I am not
optimistic.

I wrote off the division days ago. SEVEN back in the loss column. You do the
math...

Cleveland has 6 left vs KC! KC and Seattle are the worst in the league over
the last ten games, at 2-8...

I'm not so sure. How different might things have been if Rogers, Zumaya and
Rodney had been healthy all season?

BONDERMAN SEZ:
"I didn't tell anybody how bad I was because l wanted to go out and pitch," he
said. "Maybe some people don't think I did the smartest thing in the world, but
the team gave me a contract and they need me to go out and pitch."
Bondo was 10-1 at one point. He finished 11-8. So because of
his selfishness and wanting to be in the limelight he went
1-7 and contributed alot to the Team trailing the Tribe by
about six games. Bondo, Binge, Monroe, Leyland, it's amazing
we will finish above .500 this year. This group wasted
magnificient performances from Grandy and Maggs and it's
something that may not be duplicated again. THE SHOW MUST
GO ON UNDER THE BIG TOP.

And the Twins will probably play spoiler, again, for Detroit...taking
a few
of the upcoming games. Or at least I certainly hope so. >> Stay informed about: not looking good |
