As I recall, Gibbons is eligible for return from the DL sometime
around Sunday. Anyone heard if he's on track to get back after the
All Star Break?

Perhaps the return of a healthy Gibbons can mark the end of the
Luis Matos era ...

Cheers,

Other than getting ride of a near Mendoza hitter,
what good is Gibbons being back going to do?
He's barely good enough with the bat to be
a classic Orioles failed RF, in the mould of
Berroa, Bell, etc.

What is your problem with Gibbons? You were badmouthing him in the
offseason, too. He's not a great player, because he simply has stopped
taking walks (say, why _does_ Terry Crowley have a job, anyway?) but he's
not the team's biggest problem by a long shot.
