I watched the entire 1st round last year. They did a great job with
video clips, stats, and breakdowns etc. If you are a sports junkie and
you miss this, turn in your sports junkie card.
====================================================
I'd probably watch it, but I'm going to be at the Padre game tomorrow so
I'll be out of the house not long after the draft coverage starts.

I almost forgot that Saturday was a day game. I'll kiss the NFL draft
goodbye this year. Or watch it in split screen on the wide screen. I
just learned how to operate the picture in picture. DVR? I'd have to
have my little niece teach me how to do that. >> Stay informed about: So, who's looking forward to the Chargers' draft this week.. |

I guess I have a life, this year anyway. I didnt find out who the
Chargers drafted with their 1st round pick till the next day. Just
finished building a regulation horseshoe pit in my brothers back yard.
Had to break it in, and polish off an ice chest full of beer. With the
Padre game on the tube nearby of course. >> Stay informed about: So, who's looking forward to the Chargers' draft this week.. |

Okay, the curiosity's killing me.
What exactly are the regulations for a horseshoe pit? >> Stay informed about: So, who's looking forward to the Chargers' draft this week.. |

We stumbled across the plans in Maxim magazine, the one with Sarah
Silverman on the cover (why???).Each stake is in a framed box with
paving stones mounted to stand on, to throw from, on each side of the
stake. There are regs for length and width of the box, the pavers you
stand on, length fron stake to stake etc. etc. Be advised: Just like
Field Of Dreams, if you build it, they will come. A horseshoe pit a is
a great place for friends and neigbors to hang out and drink beer,
especially if you have your TV set up nearby so you dont miss the
game. Oh, and don't forget to cover the sand pits when your are done
if there are cats in the neighborhood. >> Stay informed about: So, who's looking forward to the Chargers' draft this week.. |
