Are there other online Twins forums (fora?) that you people
participate it? I used to spend some time at TwinsGeek (in the old
days), but other than that, the only thing I ever see is the comments
that people post to articles at the Twins website. I don't know if
you see them, but the level of discussion is not what you would call
elevated.
Not that we are a bunch of wizards, but the only thing that is a
drawback here is our relatively small numbers. Quality=moderately
high, quantity=pretty low.
Now maybe these things go hand in hand. Maybe a more highly populated
forum is always going to end up looking pretty stupid. This is all a
long way of asking about other online gathering places for Twins
fans. What do you know?

Popular sports Web forums are a generally waste of time, IMO.

Yes, aside from the idiot trolls like 'Likely Story' (who are also
very easy to filter out on Usenet), this forum is pretty informed
thanks to the likes of Alan and yourself, etc.

The only other forum I've found valuable and/or interesting is the
Bleacher Report for the Twins (or other teams).
http://bleacherreport.com/minnesota-twins
The articles are usually pretty timely and/or well written, and the
responses can often be pretty good.
I also read LaVelle Neal's blog at the Star-Tribune regularly, too.

Yet another person who misunderstands what irony is.
Then again, it *is* LS, so it's no real shocker that he doesn't have a
clue about the English language. >> Stay informed about: This forum |

I think he was talking about pretending your e-mail address in your
signature being scott.smith RemoveThis @farting.com, and your myspace username
being cocksmoker, which is quite disgusting, if you ask me. >> Stay informed about: This forum |

Well, nobody has ever accused 'Likely Story' of being an adult
either mentally or emotionally.

I've recently started reading and posting at www dot mnsportsfans dot
com - kind of a one-stop shop for all MN sports. Small enough that you
don't get overwhelmed, but more action than USENET, which seems to be
dying a slow death.
Oh, and I'm aceswired there for anyone that wants to jump over. I
don't post much yet, but I will more in time.
