dynasty league, too early to think about next year?

I'm in a dynasty leage with 8 teams, Had a really bad year and am currently
in last place. wondering if I should just cut my losses and start making
trades for next year. hwo our keeper systme works is after the auction you
assign contracts to your players from 1 to 5 years, all free agent pickups
are 1 year contract at the min sallary. Right now I currently have a trade
offer, I get Rocco Baldelli (4 year contract), Joe
Blanton (3 year contract) and Joe Mauer (3 year contract) I'd be giving up
Miguel M. Cabrera (4 year contract), Brian McCann (1 year) and Brett Myers
(2 years). should I do this? or can I get more for these guys (mainly
cabrera).

my team is as follows, numbers in parenthesis are their contract length. Are
scoring system is Head 2 Head, pretty non standard:

Batting:
BA, HR's, R's, RBI, SB-CS all count for 2 games
Field%, KO's OBP SLG% all count for 1 game

Pitching:
ERA,K's W's S's all count for 2 games
BS's BAA, HR's allowed, INN's, L's WHIP all count for 1 game
