When I lived in Utah in the 90s I could pick up KNBR clearly most nights,
and I'd listen to Barbieri once in a while when I was doing kitchen cleanup
or something. I thought he was pretty good, actually. At least he talked
in a normal conversational tone, seemed reasonably intelligent, and got some
decent guests and callers. In fact, I don't think I've listened to any
sports talk radio since then, because I haven't heard anyone I can stand for
more than about 3 minutes.
