One of my regrets is that I never got to listen to a baseball game on
one of the two foxhole radios that I built when I was a kid.

I haven't updated the FM settings on my car radio for a couple of moves now.
Aside from news-talk programs from time to time, the radio is usually on the
closest ESPN Radio station [always AM so far] or trying to pull in WSB 750.

I listen to music via computer and Radio@AOL. When in my vehicle I do listen to
The Dan Patrick Show on ESPN (AM) radio. (Dan, Rob Dibble and Sean Salisbury.)

When I want music, I've got way too many CDs. I listen to ESPN Radio just
about any time I'm working, usually Todd Wright and Tony Kornheiser's shows.

My '81 Malibu only has an AM deck. I love the retro look, so I never upgraded.

For music, like Doug, I've got CDs (Louis Armstrong's Hot Fives and Sevens
at the moment). Our local NPR station is on AM, and that's 90% of my radio
listening. Most of the remaining 10% is the Rockies on KOA, also AM.

Wow. I had no idea ESPN radio got any listeners. I guess many college
students for the most part don't listen to the radio, which probably
contributed to my perception. >> Stay informed about: Not Enough Baseball? |

Agreed - I'll have to get it out this evening. Right now, it's Miles Davis'
"Kind of Blue".

Is baseball more likely to be on AM or FM these days? In Cleveland,
as noted, it's on AM (1100 was still called WWWE when I left the
area), and in NY both teams are on AM.
That's what the Baseball-Reference travel section needs -- where to
find baseball on the radio in every city.

Well, so do I, for two majors of the year, since the PGA and US Open
are only on Murdoch TV. Only the Open and Masters are on real TV here.
