Rangers have a major league leading 130 homers without Juan Gonzalez, Alex
Rodrigues, Ivan Rodriguez, Rafel Palmeiro.

They hold the lead in the west with what could be considered a killer
schedule so far.

They are drafting and picking up youngsters left and right that are highly
capable of playing the majors i.e. Laynce Nix and Ricardo Rodriguez.

Obviously this is the most improved team in the Majors... WOW...

This is what Buck does.

This is what happens when you have coachable players, too.

This is the most important point, I think... These guys want to learn
and build their talent and build a team rather than a portfolio...

They may not have the best talent in the majors (individually) but
this is the best 'team' in Major League Baseball... win or lose, they
do so as a team...

And every time they hit a fair ball into the bleachers, they do so as a
team,
and we the fans do that with them.

The Rangers

“Rangers have a major league leading 130 homers without Juan Gonzalez,

All that for about $60,000,000 less than the prima donna HOFs. who would
never consider a trade for young solid players to help a team in a down
& out lost season.
Who needs them?
NOT the Rangers. LOL

How many wins do the Rangers need to have the best start ever for the
franchise?

Best starts for Texas Rangers (since moving in 1972)

as of at the
7/8 halfway
mark
----- -------
1979 49-35 47-34
1996 51-36 * 49-32 *
1998 48-39 46-35
1999 47-37 46-35
2004 48-35 46-35

Third best start so far, behind '79 and '96, I'd say.
