Right now, they're not looking like legit contenders.
Peavy's been pitching the lights out, but the rest of the starters have been
maddeningly inconsistent.
The bullpen has been great, but you need a lead to get Trevor in there to
wrap things up.
The defense has been strangely shaky (since it was one of the strong points
last year) and they've been making a lot of bonehead mistakes. The hitting
has been spotty and the "big guns" have been misfiring regularly.
They need to pull their heads out, and quickly. Get things turned around
before the hole gets too deep.
