Today on Yahoo, I saw the following: The Orioles signed C Javy Lopez, SS
Miguel Tejada, 1B Rafael Palmeiro and RHP Sidney Ponson for $121.5 million
combined but declined to invite back former legends Boog Powell and Frank
Robinson to their fantasy camp for financial reasons. . . .

Well, as a "veteran" of several Pirates Fantasy Camps, I have to admit that
they DO get a lot of the really great former Bucs back -- Maz, Teke and even
Stargell. Manny Sanguillen was my coach this summer. So, while they cannot
staff the major league ball club with any decent talent, at least they don't
cheap out on the Fantasy Camp staff <G> -- Jay in NoVA

Yeah, but just wait till the 2021 Pirate Fantasy Camp rolls around! Who then
gonna have then? Abraham Nunez, Kevin Young, Ed Sprague, Adrian Brown, Rob
Mackowiak... Yeah, that'll pack 'em in!

Requires special equipment to transport him.

Hmm. Around here he was known by a different nickname. "Fat Floyd"
